Reformer Pilates is a fantastic low-impact form of general exercise that is suitable for almost any age and ability.
Josh is an experienced physiotherapist that can assess whether or not it is suitable for you - he usually recommends it for people looking to strengthen their core muscles, or suffering from back pain, injuries or rehabilitating after surgery.
Most members coming in are brand new to reformer, so you are not alone!
Â
That's easy! Yes! Just agree on the day and time you want to exercise together, and then book beds 2 and 3 in the same time slot.Â
If you'd like to do the same class together, then feel free to turn a kiosk around slightly and follow one screen.
If you are doing separate classes, then at least one of you needs to connect some headphones to the kiosk. (see below)
Â
In Studio 2 you can either use the headphones provided or connect your own.
For our headphones its important you connect them at separate times so the two machines don't get confused.Â
Locate the ON button and put the headphones on. Hold the ON button for 7sec (until a voice says pairing mode), and then follow the prompts on screen to connect them.
Â
If you feel unsafe or need any emergency assistance, there is a 24/7 duress tablet located in Studio 2.Â
Just press the emergency button and it will call an operator at the same time as letting Josh know. They will speak to you through the tablet and you can explain to them what you need and then they will call emergency services for you.
